December December!

December, as always, is an exciting month, cos' there are so many things happening all at the same time.

I wonder how do I find time to blog with this list of "to-do"s:

- Photoshoot on Sunday evening (rushing because dear Jess is going away for December :()
- Community work next Sunday
- Appreciation Dinner with fellow workers following Sunday
- Candlelight service and JB retreat! following Sunday
- Christmas weekend!

On top of these, I am planning:

- 2 launches in December (oh yay but how do I manage?)
- dozens of Christmas pressies to get (how do I get to town when weekends are fully lined up ahead?)

I need superman capability = supernatural ability = supernatural grace!

Christmas Wishlist Out Early!

I've drafted up a Christmas wishlist, cos' I splurged TOO MUCH on blogshopping and need them no more, for now. Even if you find me thick-skinned, with all the Christmas exchanges coming up, it's all in good timing. Plus, I am so super practical I think it's no point trying to guess what someone likes. Teehee.

And guess what, it's all......makeup-related!

~ Sunscreen cum moisturizer (untinted kind) - horrifying to find out that my moisturizer does not come with SPF protection!
~ Illuminating makeup base - something you apply before foundation. I love those that has pearlish ingredients to add to the face a natural glow
~  Concealer - trust me, all my life I have never needed one. I never have dark eye rings, oh blessed complexion! But I should have one to cover zit marks.
~ Black eyeliner pencil - a variation to my liquid liner
~ Soft angled brush - for tricky lower eyelids application
~ Nude lip gloss - the best lip accessory for most makeup colours

The best Christmas gifts I received last year were hand creams from 3 different ladies. The creams served me so well as I have these perpetually dry hands, and I'm only currently into the 3rd tube! And I loved the brands they chose, Kiehl's and Crabtree & Evelyn. Now what did I say about practical gifts? It saved me a whole year of buying hand moisturizers! You gals are thoughtful and I love you for it ♥♥

Prelude to Monday

I had a good whole of 4 days' rest - loaded up on sleep and quality time with Dar, friends and family.

Stacy just arrived! Finally, since I placed an order for it in early September. Think I wrote countless emails to bother the gals at AE. I'm still your loyal fan, please put up with me!

And the cooling rainy weather outside is bliss...

Gonna work on the editng for Collection 14 - but I'll start tomorrow. There's this beautiful bag that I wanna share with you! I can't wait! ♥♥

Day Off!

Took the day off to help with the shifting (ended up I wasn't expected to carry most of the heavy boxes :p) and managed to sneak some time off with Dar, which was my fav part! ♥♥

And we sneaked off to a prawning place in Bishan...

There was this group of Japanese guys prawn-fishing with a beer and music in the background.

I would say it's a good idea to share some male bonding here.

Prawns are "parked" here after being caught to preserve their life and freshness.

No, not at all. Be proud, stand tall, embrace your unique personality, whatever it is.

Been having this crampy feeling for a week or so now, and all my purchases went into backorder. As a result I kept acquiring and accumulating.

I have nothing new to take pictures of, not especially when I'm not in tip-top turn-your-heads state.

Come tomorrow, my nephew and niece will be staying with us. Let's hope all will be happy and I'm can restrain my anal nature from being maximised! :p

Go Utilitarian

Vesak Day was an awesome rest day for me. Kickstarted the day with breakfast with Dar (breakfast in bed will never be an option since I am not an advocate of sleeping with crumbs and food particles). Did some marketing cos' Dar is going to cook dinner (yes sure I am one blessed lady!), met up with sis for a short tete-a-tete, and concluded the night with a breath-stopping movie starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. The movie was a stealer! You got to go catch it!

And I shopped till my heart stopped (figuratively) and found my Utilitarian booties! Isn't she a beauty? Think I will match this almost anything in the coming months :)
