Miam Miam @Westgate

 Had a catch-up with some lovely friends on Christmas eve (rather than doing last minute Christmas shopping, thank God!) and we tried out this French-Japanese cafe - Miam Miam.

I realise most retail shops and restaurants like to go Scandinavian-industrious theme these days, and every shop is becoming to look the same. With that said, the interior decor is cozy for chit chat.

But we waited for our food for almost an hour! At 3pm, the restaurant was pretty packed, and I guess everybody is having late lunch from their half day.

Ordered Squid Ink Rice, rather delicious I must say, but oily as an afterthought.

 My favourite has to be dessert, especially when it is macha!

Simple Review: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Frankly speaking, I'm so out of touch with make-up and cosmetics these days that I no longer know what's the in-thing in the fashion industry. Dear E got me these from NY and I'm very happy to give it a try.
As you can see from the picture, the tip of the brush is very fine. I kinda like it so fine compared to my usual eyeliner, as it doesn't smudge that easily should my hand ever shake. It took some getting used to to the draw the usual amount of eyeliner on my eye since the brush is so fine.
After a full work day, the liner was lasting (the plus point is because I have dry skin, so makeup stays on me) and it was easy to remove with a cleansing wet tissue. The look was very matt, and I'm quite a satisfied user overall! :)
