Using whatever precious time I have to blog, cos I am not allowed to sleep late these days (for little one's good).

Beliefs

The Chinese have a belief that if you wish for something not to happen, never ever say it out loud, even if it's a fact.

For example, "I've never had a fall in my heels."
They will go, "Choy Choy touch wood!"

I do believe in speaking the positive things and from there even more positive things will be attracted to you by your optimism.

Preggie Favors I am thankful for:
1. Prone to headaches, I asked for the favor of not a single headache during the entire period.  So far so good! Considered a miracle!
2. I tend to bite myself and get ulcers. In some of these near-outbreak situations, I asked for the bite wounds to heal without developing into an ulcer. About 3/3 times has come true!

Shouldn't I be thankful?

The lady has been missing for a fair bit recently.
So much happenings.

Anyway a good part of December I was feeling frumpy. Yes frumpy is the word.
So I went for a good haircut, which did wonders to uplift one's mood.
Not satisfied with just that, I took a further step and did some vibrant highlights a month later.

Determined to be a healthy mum-to-be, and not be limited in the things I can do as much as I can

Read the reviews and reviewers were just plain raving about the squid ink pasta and desserts. I just need a good carborana pasta and a pizza in true Italian style to satisfy me. Maybe somebody will take me there for my birthday, haha.

Secret Garden

Took me a while to finally settle on a Korean drama I want to catch. Recent months have been tranquil. I pick a drama based on 2 factors: cast and plot. There are only certain actors/actresses I follow and I tend to go after familiar faces, unless it's a very exciting plot or compelling acting (aka super handsome/chio actors/actresses can compensate for the lack of acting skill).

This is one actress whom I will surely follow whenever she stars in a drama, and it all started from Hotelier, to Full House, to The World That They Live In.

It was her sweet smile and grow-on-you acting that won me.

She took a spunky short-haired role in The World That They Live In - a very mature themed drama which convinced me I could carry on watching her cos' she displayed versatility and is competent of less cutsy characters.

♥ Yoon Eun Hye ♥

Though Goong was dubbed a teeny idol flick, I was drawn by this teary, wide-eyed princess in Goong, and convinced myself she's got potential. She has proven many wrong and right with her blazing trail.

But I really want to talk about this - Secret Garden - starring a few of my favorite cast! Oh yeah!

I'm only into the 5th episode and there are already mesmerizing scenes that make you feel warm and fuzzy...but I hear there's a twist to the plot, so keeping my fingers crossed before I pass judgement.

Like him since My Fair Lady. I think he can act.
