The Skinny

A day without diaper bags. A day with handbags.
Enuff said. Indulge!
Love the apple prints on the cardigan
Main complain about my pasta? The cheese was tasteless!
I think it wasn't worth the money. For the same price, there are certainly better restaurants out there dishing out better meals. Maybe I'm just a plain Jane.

Polka Dots Parade

These days, the Lady doesn't don extensive make-up for work.
Just the bare essentials. If not for Sir George, it wouldn't be possible to put on any at all with a scrambling toddler who wakes up just as early.
And I have to parade my new fav polka dot addition!
Close-up. Really heart the colour!

Pastels

After putting up with ugly and naked nails since week 37 of pregnancy, the Lady has turned over a new leaf and painted rainbow pastels for Chinese New Year! Don't the colours make one happy just looking at it? So what do I do when I need a mood-lifter? Stare at my feet!

December

Hello! My first entry for December, let's hope it's not the only. *fingers crossed*
Anyway the Lady is back into blogshopping, and window shopping whenever she gets the opportunity.

 My new favourite primal buy..."Grrrawwrrrrrrrrr"
Though this has not been new, for a shopping-deprived me, it feels very novel and I tried it when I got home. To my surprise it works, but I thought it expensive to pay $6.90 for 2 pieces of velcro.
Close-ups
The Japanese are really creative!

The World of Heels

Debut at wearing heels after being OOC (Out Of Confinement). They are a gift from Faith and they are gorgeous! Given to me when I was preggers so I could only admire from afar then.

Brasserie Wolf

For our annual celebration of dearest Hui's birthday, we went to Brasserie Wolf - excerpt from website describes it as "A casual French bistro located by the Singapore River at The Pier ..."
We were concerned that portions might be small after a quick glance at the "you-can-count-with-one-hand" number of prawns on our next table's plate. Well, we were pleasantly mistaken and had our fill of food and friendship.
For a starter, a dish my vegetarian friends will hate. Shi and Hui like it.
I hate onions but I must say this onion soup is great!
Lamb shank is huge! Hui finds it a bit too much.
My beef stew which everyone think it's good.
Chef's special of the day - pasta with truffle oil
Creme Brulee that was a tad disappointing

I.AM.BACK

Checking in for a quick one to announce to the world that I'm back in bloggion, well, slowly and surely now that I'm juggling with an additional role as a newbie mom!

This blog wouldn't document my parenting experience but will continue to advocate the side of me that embraces fashion and life.
The vain side of me is starting to remind myself to take care of me-self after tirelessly focusing on nurturing my newborn, and neglecting that Lady G is a very vain person! So I'm now treating myself to grapes (healthy snack with antioxidants) and putting on night cream to repair my broken down complexion that was harmed by air-conditioning throughout the confinement.
