SOTD - Chimera Necklace

I waited almost 3 months for this embellished necklace to arrive from HVV, yet one of the embellishments fell off before I can even start wearing it! In the end I secured the piece with double-sided tape and that will have to do in the meanwhile before I have time to go look for fabric glue. 

OFTD - Going All Dotty

I haven't worn this outfit for ages, since 2010 but it's one of those I want to keep for a bit. 

I love that it's dotty, girly, and flowy all at the same time ♥

SOTD - Bow Wow

Thanks to Eliz and Hui for adding to my Swaroski collection - a quaint bow necklace that kinda grows on me. It's so daintily cute with a little hint of preppy. And my eye makeup got complimented today. I had lined my lower lid which I'd usually save for the weekend.

Browless No More - Eyebrow Embroidery Review

This an un-sponsored review that I'm writing in appreciation of the numerous bloggers who unabashedly put up their own reviews - especially to the un-sponsored ones - which greatly helped me in deciding where to go for my eyebrow embroidery.  The main drawback in the research process was that I could only find photos of the before-and-after brow transformation done on the day itself by most bloggers, and I found myself searching high and low for those who actually took a photo of themselves weeks later - and found none.

Numbing cream was applied on my brows and I had to wait for at least 30 mins before the cream took effect. I asked Kelly if I were going to feel the pain and my question made her decide to leave the cream for 45 mins instead. 

The brows looked a bit thick but I reckon it takes some getting used to.

Both sides of brow don't look balanced, but I thought to wait it out for a month or so before deciding if I like it.

By day four, the tattoo had faded quite a bit. I really took special care not to let the brows come into contact with water, except for my morning and night wash. Still, there was some minor scabbing and I noticed a coloured patch without the embroidered hair.

5 weeks later, my brows looked as natural as can be. I do fill the tip of the brows in with some brown eyeshadow, so as to even out with my hair colour when I put on makeup. But if not, the brows looked good by itself. I still have in mind to go back to Kelly for the free touch up for my right brow, which was slightly unbalanced compared with the left brow.

Though it's almost $500, it's well spent in my opinion. I no longer worry about brows!

SOTD & OOTD - Dogging the Tooth

Flattering but not extremely comfy to wear. Good thing about the dress? No need to iron!
