Venue: Bukit Timah

Checking out an authentic Korean restaurant for the first time.
Owned by family of Koreans.
Free-for-all to scribble wall
Judging by the unassuming crowd (not hyped up by humongous queue) and yet we waited in line for 15 minutes, something good seems to be brewing!
Never been to authentic Korean fare before, thus when served with these array of dishes, my question was, "Sorry did we order these?"
The answer that came, "These are complimentry starters."
Pleasantly surprised, we tucked in.
Hot stone rice
Every dish was mouth-watering good, authentic tasting, served with excellent attitude. No matter which dish we ordered.
The waitress kept coming to check if we wanted refills for the starters. Definitely revisitng.
Did I mention it was only about $15-$25 per pax if you are not ordering their hot plate bbq?

And oh, a doodling that I found amusing - whoever drew their friends like that?

Genting Highlands - A Date with the Clouds

16 - 18 Apr 2010

A weekend getaway with some couple friends

Sonny & Agnes on board our 18-seater semi-luxurious coach
It was comfortable I tell you!
In-coach entertainment system. Cool.

We arrived @5am in the morning, half awake.
Waited for the rides to open at 8am.
Went for Old Town "early" breakfast.
Things don't stay hot in Genting I must say!

Sand and I set out to conquer "Corkscrew"
Was a breeze!
Loved Sonny's expression!
Sand and me aimed to complete all the most thrilling rides
The most challenging of all - we call this "Superman"
Freaking scary! Is it over yet??!
I could see I turned a little pale - FUN!
This ride alone made the whole trip worthwhile.
Time to replenish ourselves!
How foggy Genting is @6pm
Btw, that was the Corkscrew we went up on earlier
Foggy Genting @12am
Weather here changes drastically
Dinner!
Fried brinjal that is actually tasty!

Feels like mini-Venice inside indoor theme park

I took this @6am next morning

My friend said the colours looked fake, that's how beautiful it was!
Mini-mushroom growth
Signing off with the star of the trip - Sour Apple Popsicle! Ta-da!
