Anecdote

Boss: Hey! Your stomach is showing and it's nice!
Me: Yea it suddenly pop out over the last couple of weeks
Boss: What "popping"? It's "your bb is growing"!
Me: Hmmm, a whole new beautiful way to see things I guess

Tracking the "bump"
Grant me my wish - preserve those lean arms!

Little things do make me happy

It's been a while since I left my previous company where colleagues would travel overseas and buy me stuff.
And finally I got a little cute import from the land of the rising sun from a current colleague!

Dotty

I have a thing for polka dots - don't you think it's the most universal print?

Myriad

You ever felt this way?
Myriad of emotions. Explosions of a conglomerate of feelings.
Too diverse, too varied and you are lost trying to find the starting point to relate.

There are many ways to keep sanity:
If you have a religious support, like me, talking to my Heavenly Father gives unexplainable calming peace.
Next, confiding in the right family members/friends who offer support through understanding, empathy and encouragement.

Then, after you have said so much till words fail you and exhaustion creeps in, here's what I do:
- Blogging tirelessly
- Retail therapy->dressing up->looking good->feeling good
- Fancy/wacky manicure (pictures in upcoming post)
- Movies/music - whichever relaxs you
- Games
Bottomline: you'll find me indulging in every possible treat that doesn't imply that I am stressed, as it really really helps to take your mind off.

Live to learn. Learn to cope. Cope by laughing it off.

Muse

Preggie Celeb styles I adore - Nicole Richie is my new muse
Why don't we have affordable maternity wear like Old Navy and Gap in SG?
I ordered some loots from Old Navy, keeping fingers crossed that the sizes fit me!

Tried & Tested: Moisturizer

On a quest to find the right moisturizer cum sunscreen and concealer for my severely dry face.

Concealer: Tried ZA and it reveals a cracked texture over where it's applied after half a day.
Bio-Essence - high SPF protection but hard to be absorbed and appears whitish after application. Does not moisturize my skin much.
Shiseido Emulsion - creamy texture that does not absorb easily but moisturizes well.
ZA concealer does not show up as badly.

Winter Sonata

There were 2 suspects:
1) The virus that circulated through the air-con ventilation
2) The air-con was simply too cold

Resorted to unglam thick, woollen throwever to combat blowing my whole nose off every morning - my latest gimmick. Winter Sonata at play.

A great steal from G2000. Super unglam. Super effective. Day 5 and counting. I haven't sneezed the same way since :)

To The Sweetest Darling Ever

Our thoughts of an ideal Valentine celebration, is cosying up with no other distraction in the comfort and exclusiveness of our love nest, after a meal concocted out of sweetness and love. This becomes more priceless, when the gesture is spontaneous and unplanned, more so when we already had our fair share of busy schedules to adhere to.

On this day, the warmness lies not in the ambience of a deliberate setting, nor the extent of a gift. On this day, I was warmly touched by an insistence to conjure up a meal for me, and deeply moved by him cleaning up after I was too full to move.

Sometimes you love someone so much that you wish to do everything within your means to freeze time and moment, to lock the reality in, and seal off that person as yours forever, and result in possessive, selfish and destructive actions. I've come to the conclusion to make everyday count, in making sure your love knows he is loved, as much as possible, everyday of his being.

To my sweetest darling ever, this is my vow to you.

Little Jabs

Little jabs that indicate signs of life bring many a smile to the bearer.
Harmless poking or mindless stretching be it - all forms of movement call for celebration.
Amused is the feeling when the random bubbling begins.

Black Swan

Caught The Black Swan without any inkling of what the plot was about, and sat in many sedated moments inside the theater with the unveiling of dark, psychotic scenes.

The next day, I embarked on googling on was this actually a true story? Turns out it wasn't.
The depiction of how one could crack under perceived personal pressure and hallucinate is hauntingly unnerving. The last time I was 'positively disturbed' by a movie was 门徒.
A psychotic thriller is harder to swallow than a horror film in its after-effect.

Living Life on a Swing

My blog is hardly wordy because I don't like to dwell on things.
I hardly rant because I don't prefer to implicate emotional matters into a light-hearted read.

January is like taking a swing.
Heights in anticipation of baby. Lows of dad in hospital, and still in hospital.
I already don't know how to answer to the question, "How's your dad?"
Too much details, too long, too draining.
Bear with me if I feel tired of detailing.

Surprisingly, escape and release is found in the form of html language.
In giving Lady Georgette an overhaul,
In customizing dividers, font style.
I found my oasis in the desert,
Other than talking to my heavenly Daddy.

So Behold!
Lady Georgette (in a new whitewashed theme)
SuperMum & Kiddo (a digital scrapbook of sorts)

Priceless

There was this day Dar and me were supposed to catch a certain show.
He bought the tickets. He was jumping with excitement (subtle hints of a surprise he's harbouring).
En route to the theatre, I was relating on how a colleague feedbacked there were negative reviews of a movie I wanted to catch.
Inside the theatre, he shot me a disappointed expression, and handed me the tickets. I took a glance - the movie I had wanted to watch.
Awwww. Awesome sweetness.
In the end, I really enjoyed the movie and decided not to trust any reviews other than my own.
What would I give to have a dear like him?

Of Pale Blooms

Refused to turn Lady Georgette into a mummy's blog - for now
Hot sassy mum I gonna be!

I've Officially Gone Crazy

Secret Garden crazy. If you haven't been intoxicated, right about now is a good time to start. I've uploaded my Playlist with clips and songs from the Korean drama, and I'll be tuning in every now and then just to have a quick listen =)
